Here is an image of an Eastern Gray Squirrel (Sciurus) feeding from one of our backyard feeders. Gray squirrels are a constant visitor and are with us throughout the year. We have up to 5 or 6 running around the yard and through the trees. One year we even had a mom and several pups nest in a hollow of a tree. This makes the 1st of 1000 fauna and the first of one hundred backyard nature images I want to create.
