 Imagine a serene natural landscape captured in a black and white photograph. Picture a calm body of water reflecting trees and clouds, with a little island full of dense greenery right in the center. The backdrop? A lush, wooded area with trees of all shapes and sizes, set against a beautifully overcast sky with dynamic, textured clouds. And to top it all off, a flock of birds is gracefully flying in a V-formation at the top left. This piece truly captures the tranquility and harmony of nature.

So, what inspired this? A simple love for the serenity that nature offers. The unique twist? Well, let's just say it involved a pair of waterproof boots and some very patient waiting for those birds to get their act together!

Matthew's View - Day 269

  4 years ago, today we lost our son Matthew to a workplace accident. He was a tower climber who loved his job and the work he did. This image was photographed at about 150' above the ground which was a normal working height for Matthew. This is a view of what he would have seen from his perspective working aloft. I love and miss you so much, Matthew!
