Shingled Silhouette - Day 340

ISO 100, f/8.0, 1/250th sec

Shingled Silhouette is my latest black and white photograph. It's a close-up of a house's rooftop, showcasing a dormer window and the textures of wood and shingles. Light and shadow play a key role in highlighting these details. This piece was inspired by the unique interplay of elements often overlooked in everyday architecture. Capturing the depth and contrast was a challenging yet rewarding process.

This is the 81st architecture image posted to the blog.
