Sunrise Over Kitt Peak - Day 79

ISO 800, f/6.7, 1/1000th sec

While photographing the sunrise from Gates Pass I remembered an old photographer's adage to always look behind you when photographing a sunrise or sunset. Turning around I saw the sun breaking over Kitt Peak creating this stunning view. Standing at 6,883 feet making it the highest point in the Quinlan Mountains and it is also 45 miles from where I stood at Gates Pass.
