In Joshua Tree National Park there are numerous features that are must to stop and visit. Skull Rock is one of those places to see. Normally people are climbing all around this oddity to get photos however after getting up early for a sunrise session at Ryan Mountain we stopped by and had the area all to ourselves for about 10 minutes. I would highly recommend a visit to Joshua Tree NP if you have the opportunity.
