While exploring the area around Skull Rock in Joshua Tree NP I came across this lone Yucca growing atop a large boulder. I knew in a moment that I had the makings for a good minimalistic photo. The lone yucca, the textures and lines in the boulder and the cloudless sky all worked together to enhance this image.
